Day 01: Delhi – Manali (570 kms)
Arrive Delhi by Air or Train. Arrive at bus stand (PICK UP POINT –
CHANDERLOK BUILDING C0NNOUGHT PLACE, NEW DELHI AT 05:30 PM AND ARRIVE
MANALI AT AROUND 07:00 AM ). Travel over night in Volvo bus from Delhi
to Manali.
Day 02: Manali Town And Local Sight Seeing
On arrival at Manali check in hotel, Afternoon half day city tour
visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Village, Vashist Hot
Water Springs, Van Vihar, Hongkong Market, The Mall and Tibetan
Monastery. Afternoon free to explore the Shopping malls of Manali.
Dinner & Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Rohtang Pass Up To Snow Line
After Breakfast at hotel proceed for full day excursion visiting,
Kothi Village, Palchan Village, Nehru Kund, Beas Nalla, Rahla Water
falls, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is
closed due to snow fall) enjoy Skiing full day around Rohtang in the
mountain side snow fields. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Manali – Kullu – Manikarn
After Breakfast in the Morning excursion to KULLU VALLEY AND
MANIKARN enjoy Rafting in the Beas River, enroute visit kullu market,
Kullu Shawl factories and sale outlets, Angora Farm, Vaishno Mata
Temple and Parvati river. Return to Manali to explore the town on your
own. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Manali – Dharamshala
After breakfast check out, and proceed to Dharamshala at 8:30 am
enroute visit Baijnath Shiv Temple at Baijnath, Palampur Tea Estates and
Chamunda Temple, arrive Dharamshala by evening, check in hotel and rest
over night at hotel.
Day 06: Dharamshala
After breakfast visit His Holiness The Dalai Lama Temple, Mini
secretariat of The Tibetan Government in Exile, The St. Johns Church,
Bhagsu Nag Water Falls and Shiv Temple, Mcleodganj Tibetan handicrafts
Shopping Malls, back to hotel and rest over night.
Day 07: Dharamshala – Delhi
After breakfast free time for own activities,
visit Naddi shepherded village or take a trek to Guna Mata Temple, in
the evening proceed to Delhi in AC Volvo bus.
Day 01 : Arrival Shimla – Arrive Shimla by toy train at 0520 PM. On arrival met and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and over night stay.
Day 02 : Shimla – Chadvik Falls :
Full day Walk with your Heritage Guide through the Heritage Zone of
Shimla visiting a number of old buildings built by the British. Visit to
Christ Church, Scandal Point, GPO, Railway Board Building, Gorton
Castle, Scandal Point, Christ Church, Bantony, Caston Hall, Bentink’s
Castle, Kali Bari Temple and of course Viceregal Lodge. Carry on to the
beautiful walk to Chadvik Fall, one of the beautiful Water falls around
Shimla.
Day 03 : Shimla – Descend to Sipur Village : Today
we drive to Mashobra Village that has been famous for its weekend
camping among the British. Descend to Sipur Temple the venue of Sipi
Fair. Carry on to the
village with the same name. The walk ends at the waterfall at a narrow
road that is generated by the water flowing through the village. From
here we drive to Naldehra – that keeps the highest Golf Course in Asia
and then return through an old estate of the King of Faridkot, Coutts
Garden – the oldest Apple Orchard near Shimla.
Day 04 : Shimla – Walk around the Elysium Hill : A small walk begins from the Christ Church. Bharari, Shimla’
Sleeping Beauty, as Sri Niwas Joshi, an influential writer from Shimla,
calls it, is towards the North of the town from Lakkar Bazaar called
Bharari. Here you will see a number of old houses, forests and a few
villages at last. Some new constructions on the way might annoy you but a
visit to a small wooden temple that is a marvel example of hill
architecture is an attraction for many. Generally the sound of school
children, village shops, chirping birds and some old houses draw your
attraction during the walk.
Day 05 : Shimla – Kalka Departure :
Morning an optional walk around and to the Jakhu Hill, the highest hill
of Shimla that is crowned by the monkey temple of Lord Hanuman.
Afternoon drive to Kalka to board Shatabadi Express to Delhi. Tour ends
